A final year student from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh…who hasn’t still figured out why he’s there…but has given his all to get out of that place within the prescribed four years…and he isn’t alone…there’s a small gang of his friends who somehow have managed to survive the last three and half gruelling years of hardship…and the latest news is that their percentages have hit an all time low in their penultimate semester…an MBA aspirant who has flunked in CAT and got rejected by IIFT, will be giving XAT in a few days… an ardent fan of English Premier League and MAN U, he’s been awestruck by the sternness of Wigan Athletic, popularly known as Latics who are in the league for the first time …hey…if you are thinking who’s the weird guy being talked about here…I won’t mind telling you that “it’s me”…I guess you have had enough of me…Back to normal…Well, another year is coming to an end...as far as I'm concerned 2005 didn’t go as I would have liked it to…I had a series of disappointments this year but there were some positives for me as well…in July I got campus placement in Computer Science Corporation (CSC), Noida…then, in September I got a laptop…which I believe is going to be an indispensable part of my future endeavors…and I’ll remember this year for this blog as well…I discovered an altogether new world of blogging a few days back and after visiting a number of dazzling and a few insipid blogs I decided that I’ll make one too…and thanks to blogspot.com…it’s been a very simple process…
I am looking forward to 2006 very eagerly…but currently I’m perplexed…don’t ask me why…but, I believe in “things falling into their places” and in a few months I know that I’ll get answers to all my apprehensions…
I’ve named my blogsite “let us think beyond”…and there’s a reason for it…I believe that there is much more to life than we can ever imagine…there were times in the last three years when I felt I’ve seen enough of life…but no, I was mistaken…there’s much more…beyond the obvious…
And on the top of this blog you would have read this…“Cogito, ergo sum”…well, this means, “I think, therefore I exist.” French philosopher Rene Descartes wrote “The fact that one thinks is proof that one exists.” I hope I’ve made my point.
I haven’t decided what all I’ll do in this space…but work is in progress and soon you’ll find some interesting links and some more stuff from me…
